Project Operations covers what happens after the plan is agreed: running the work, keeping it attached to the budget it was priced against, and knowing early when it is drifting.
Execution is where the assumptions made during planning get tested. Something is always different from what was drawn, and the question is never whether change happens but whether it is recorded against the original reasoning or absorbed silently into the margin. The articles here deal with change management, scheduling, coordination across trades, documentation, draw and approval processes, and the visibility problems that make small issues expensive.
We are particularly interested in the lessons that usually evaporate at project close. A finished project contains most of what you would want to know before starting the next one — what the estimate got wrong, which risks were real, how long things actually took — and almost none of it survives unless someone captures it deliberately.
